Argentinian democracy activist, Pia Mancini, is a leader in a movement to create an open source model for democracy. It's an intention to move current democracies from models based in 16th century information tools and cultures to those of the digital era. It's about turning citizen engagement from the bipolar dysfunctionality of silence and noise to authentic learning and dialogue.
It is a far more profound shift for institutionalized legislators addicted to the power of monologue and exclusion. Her movement is designing, testing and launching the tools that will make this possible. Check out her articulate and inspiring TED talk.
