The Place of Civic Dialogue in Social Transformation

It is I believe naive to expect that elected leaders, people rich enough to win public office positions, have the insight and skill to make social transformation happen, especially if every day is an uncivil and civil political war waged against political enemies in the same political systems.

I prefer the question of whether and how raising the intelligence of civic dialogue can make a social difference. We need more contexts and facilitators for civic dialogue at higher levels, with greater quality of dialogue.
