Systems, Processes and Agreements

In our work, we teach groups how to work by agreements. Agreements are tested, co-crafted explicit commitments on actions and interactions that serve the good of all. They are detailed, contextual and agile.

Agreements qualitatively differ from systems and processes. The intention behind many systems and processes is to remove individual judgement from work in service of mindless compliance. The intention behind agreements is the opposite: the mindful contextual judgment in service of the good of all.
