Personalities matter

While organizations spend all manner of resources engineering systems to assure outcome certainties, there is one factor that continues to significantly influence what actually happens on a daily basis: personalities.

The core of personality differences is not how people express and organize themselves. It's how people process information and experience. The more we know about this, the more context we have for experiencing undertanding rather than puzzlement about other people's personalities. It takes honest interaction and judgement-minimal inquiry.

The more we undertand the core of personalities, the more skillful and helpful we become with them. The more trustworthiness we generate, which gives them the space to see beyond their usual ways of seeing the world. The same happens with us when others take time to undertand the unique core of our personality.
