The Power of "What If ..."

always the beautiful answer | who asks a more beautiful question

What if we could ...? Fill in the blank with imagining the best possible world for everyone. Fill it in with a sense of the possible and impossible, delightful and outrageous.

It's a beautiful question in two ways. It catalyzes new considerations and crystallizes new impacts. It opens new windows and doors on our creative edges. It provokes inverse narratives where we start with amazing outcomes and imagine what would incubate and inculcate these outcomes.

The question is so powerful, it can be the core of what would otherwise be mission or vision statements. Beautiful questions have incredibly more power to inspire and organize than statements. There is science to support this. It's time for more beautiful questions.
