I've done so many talks, presentations and meetings of varying duration and complexity over the years where I intentionally used a minimalist 3 slides to give visual support. I like a slide framing the invitation question, one sending the big message or model and one photo that gives context for storytelling. More slides gets in the way of the presence between me and the group. They are noise. Less is more. After all, it's about engaging dialogue not disengaged monologue.
