Why collaborations break down

Collaborations break down in the face of rigidly held perspectives. More and new questions have the potential to liberate us to other, particularly synergistic perspectives. Collaborations become at risk and less likely as soon as someone argues in advocacy, turning perspective into position. It only takes one person to sometimes cause the breakdown.  We can prevent and repair breakdowns by getting everyone engaged in identifying and crafting more and new questions, considering the reality of our shared unknowns.
