The happy talk about new tech is always about what "it can do." Good tech can do much, certainly, and usually when people use its potential. This requires the development of new habits. If people are too distracted or don't know how to create new habits, even the best technology doesn't have a chance for its potential to be optimized.
The implication is that along with any new tech rollout, people need to learn how to explicitly focus and create new habits because these are intrinsically required.
