Some years ago I was asked to design and facilitate a team building event for health care leaders. A few dozen leaders spent a day cooking together, exceeding appetites, and connections were made that could never have happened in countless teambuilding workshops with powerpoints and faux team activities.
In recent years, this has become an emergent trend in building teams. And its powerful because food has always had that power to bring people together in signifcance of their connections.
Now with the new book on the way (BeyondRecipes.kitchen) I will be taking this to a new level by adding the rich dimension of improvisation into people learning how to show up together by cooking together in agile kitchens. Connection and innovation: the best of both worlds. Get your team cooking together soon.
