When we can get beyond our narcissistic obsession with good use of our own time, we can actually start caring about whether and if we are making good use of other people's time when we take their time for any reason.
Beyond this being a very caring question, caring about the time of others naturally causes us to be more mindful of our own use of time and the contributions we can make with whatever time we create. The more mindful we are of the value of other people's time, the more capable we become of contributing and creating value together. This is exceptionally evident in thriving cultures.
