It has become popular in some circles to think of everything as a design problem, whether it's something that would get conventionally framed as a social, technical, economic or political problem. It's a compelling lens, worthy of exploring how we might design and co-create a new future together. The power of a design perspective is how it moves us from an unrewarding problem focus to a more productive possibility focus. It is based on the observation that we can create all manner of new good things without necessarily "solving" the problems we think need to be first extinguished.
