Reimagining planning

We need a more articulate taxonomy of how we categorize planning. Typical vocabulary features strategic, business and operational planning.  However we attempt to nuance distinctions, it's all planning dfferentiated perhaps by the scope of timeframes, questions and invitations.

The conversation about which category of plan we should engage seems important, but it has little utility outside the classroom in a study of industrial history. All that matters in practical terms is getting the timeframes, questions and invitations right for whatever kind of planning we're doing.
